Advanced automation relies on actuators, sensors, switches, connectivity devices, and controls. Now Weintek offers two new options for the latter:
• The Weintek cMT-CTRL01 is a combination of a CODESYS-programmable controller and IIoT gateway.
• The Weintek iR-PU01-P (which we cover in a separate video) is a motion control module.
The cMT-CTRL01 CODESYS controller + gateway allows programming with CODESYS: In compliance with IEC 61131-3, this supports multiple languages — function block diagrams, ladder diagrams, instruction lists, structured text, sequential function charts, and continuous function charts. The cMTCTRL01 PLC also works with iR Series I/O modules that can be flexibly added to the cMT-CTRL01 to expand systems.
Optional support for EasyAccess 2.0 means design engineers can use the software to update the PLC’s CODESYS project and monitor operation status — even remotely, if that’s required.
