Pad gaprao for 2
Ingredients: 300g minced meat, 4 cloves garlic, 3 bird’s eye chili, 1/2 onion, 1 cup long beans, 1 cup holy basil (or other basil)
Sauce: 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp fish sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp water
1. Chop up the onion and long beans into small pieces.
2. Grind the garlic and chili (or mince finely) until it becomes a paste.
3. Add oil to a wok and stir fry the garlic and chili until the air feels spicy.
4. Add the minced meat and brown it for a while, then mix in the sauce.
5. Add the veggies and toss until cooked.
6. Turn off the heat and mix in the basil.
7. Serve over rice and optional fried egg.
