Solstice and New Years Blessings Herbal Jedi Community. I appreciate all the time and energy each one if you have put into watching these videos and growing your own earth medicine Kin-nections.
This video is of three practises I have found to be extremely useful in supporting my year and visioning work.
Below is a list of each exercise in detail.
I would love to hear from you in the COMMENTS below if you found this video useful.

1.) One word message burning release.
Take a few minutes to distill your intentions for the new year down to one word. Keep that word in your minds eye and write it down on a piece of paper.
Sit with it for a moment then light it on fire and release it to the universe with intention to grow into the message behind that word.
When things are challenging, come back to that word and remind yourself of what your intention was.
2.) 30 minute reflection exercise, set a timer and spend 5 minutes on each journaling prompt. Put pen to paper, and let anything that comes to mind pour onto the page; there is no wrong answer.
1. What were your darkest moments this year?
2. What were your brightest moments this year?
3. What did you learn?
4. What are you ready to let go of, to compost?
5. What are you seeding? What does your heart and soul really yearn to grow?
6. Take the last 5 minutes to read over your writing. You may like to underline or highlight anything that stands out to you.
3.) Active Appreciation highlight reel journaling exercise.
Start by recapping each month in chronological order writing down at least 3 to 4 bullet points or up to 1 page of details. Make sure to do this in chronological order as it builds momentum throughout the year. Use whatever tools you have to help jog your memory. Some examples to use that may help your memory are photo reels, Calendar, messaging apps, or banking statement.
Only list the positive accomplishments and events.
One day to one week later review your highlight reel give yourself a big congratulations for all the things you were able to accomplish this year and make a list of goals you are setting intention to achieve next year.
