Pat Pattle - Unjustifiably Forgotten WWII Fighter Ace

Marmaduke Thomas St John Pattle, better known as Pat Pattle, was credited with 50 air victories, making him the most successful Royal Air Force fighter pilot. The RAF’s ace of aces flew all his combat missions on the skies over Libya and Greece. Since the early phase of the war in the Mediterranean was not in the spotlight, his successes are mainly unknown.
