There is one supreme god .he is self illuminated , immortal , and has a creative personality.By the gurus grace he is obtained and we embrace his meditation.The truth in prime is true, the beginning of ages is true , the truth that he is there, and the truth that he verily shall be is true.
By pondering on god ,man cannot have a conception of him,even though he may ponder a lacs of time.
Even though one be silent and remain in the lords constant love , he may not obtain mind's silence.
The hunger of the hungry will not depart even though they may pile up a lot of worlds valuables.
Man may posses a thousands and lacs of wits , but not even one will be with him in the lords court.
How can we be true and how can the screen of untruth be rent?
Oh Nanak! By obeying , the preordained order of lords will.
