Finally after months of on and off work, I’ve finally perfected the hypnotizing solo tone from The Moment.
As far as YouTube uploads go, and much of the internet, this is the first time this solo has been accurately replicated on the actual piece of gear Kevin Parker used for this solo: the Roland GR-55.
This was no easy feat so I’m very proud of this one!
Additionally the solo is just as hard to play
note-for-note perfect as it was to figure out the tone lol. Can’t blame KP anymore for constantly flubbing up the solo live, it kills your pinky with all the sliding…
The backing track is the original song with most synths and all guitars removed so all you hear is my guitar parts front and center with the drums.
Tutorial for this tone is coming sometime within the next week, thank you for those who’ve been waiting patiently for the tutorial.
