🚶♂️While Yumiko and I were shopping at Cenova in downtown Shizuoka yesterday, waiting for dad’s clinic appointment, we stumbled upon a delightful surprise—a cat cafe! 🐾 Located next to the pet store on one of the upper floors, this cozy spot lets you spend 30 minutes with cats for ¥700 (~$4.75 USD).
They also offer a menu of coffee drinks ☕ to enjoy while hanging out with the cats. We saw more than a dozen furry residents, some of them even dressed in Santa costumes 🎅, lounging and playing throughout the cafe. While we didn’t go inside since we needed to meet dad, it’s definitely something to keep in mind for the future—what a perfect spot for a fun, relaxing date!
