One of my favourite hard rock ballads. It's called 'Never Wanna See You Cry' from the band LE MANS, from Chicago, USA. After this album, their singer Peter Marino (pictured bottom left) , joined the metal band CACOPHONY to play with legendary guitarists JASON BECKER and Marty Friedman (CACOPHONY was Marty Friedman's virtuoso band before he joined to MEGADETH for 'Rust in Peace' in 1989). The lead guitarist of LE MANS, Derek Frigo (seen in the middle with white t-shirt), died in 2004 from a heroin overdose. His dad was a classical music composer. Their Greek-origin drummer, Kenny Stavropoulos (bottom right) , is still a session drummer. I am not really sure about the other 2 guys, the bassist and the rhythm guitarist. But from what I saw in Metal Archives, their rhythm guitarist Johnny Johnson (top left) has now quit music. The previous drummer of LE MANS (before Kenny), was the famous 80's sessionist Randy Castillo, who had also played with MOTLEY CRUE , LITA FORD and OZZY OSBOURNE during the 1980's. Randy Castillo died of cancer in 2002.
