Lionstorm (Yellow tom with darker yellow stripe running down his mane and back) was a gentle-giant, lion-heared tom raised in Shadowclan. As an apprentice, Lionpaw fell in love with a kind young she-cat named Doepaw (Light brown shecat with loghter brown underbelly and chest). Though, another apprentice Sharppaw (Grey tomcat with red tabby patches) was already close with Doepaw, often sharing prey with her and giving other hints that he wants to be her mate. This continued until one harsh Leaf-bare when Doepaw fell ill with Greencough, a fatal sickness that was known for sweeping clans in cold seasons. Lionpaw would regularly visit Doepaw to see if she was okay, though almost every time he would be shooed away by Sharppaw as he knew Lionpaw liked Doepaw. Then one morning Doepaw succumbed to the sickness. Lionpaw was heartbroken and Sharppaw was furious. Lionpaw spent the next two moons mourning Doepaw as Sharppaw gave him snickety comments and insults. Over time Lionpaw grew close to another apprentice called Cherrypaw (pinkish red tom with green eyes). Every now and then the two would spend time together at a maple tree hanging over a pool in ShadowClan territory. The two became great friends and soon after earned their warrior names, Lionstorm and Cherryheart. The two developed feelings for each other until Cherryheart was killed in an ambush attack by Sharppaw, now Sharpstripe, an exiled Loner. Lionstorm was heartbroken all over again, and he murdered Sharpstripe in his cold-blooded fury. A moon later, he fled Shadowclan and fainted in an abandoned animal den in Skyclan territory. A Skyclan warrior Mottledmoss (Mottled brown she-cat with green eyes) discovered him and nursed him back to health. He followed her and joined Skyclan keeping his old name. Moons later, they became mates and Mottledmoss had his kits two moons after. Mottledmoss named one Patchedkit (Yellow and mottled pale brown tomkit with different colored eyes). Lionstorm named his golden colored she-kit with a darker gold back stripe Marigoldkit after the marigolds Doepaw used to wear in her fur. He named another mottled pale brown
She-kit Maplekit after the maple tree at the pool he and Cherryheart used to visit. Finally, Mottledmoss adopted a black Tomkit that was recently found abandoned and named him Spiderkit.
Finally, after all the hurt and pain in his life, Lionstorm can live a happy life with his mate and newborn kits.
