How to Recycle Plastic Bottles at Home

"But what about the plastic bottles?"

It's no secret - we love to recycle our tried and tested bottle tops. But the tops are only part of the problem. PET plastic bottles can't be recycled in the same way that we recycle other plastics (for a variety of reasons - but that's for another video). So we've teamed up with Tylman Design and Bambu Lab to turn plastic bottles into 3D printing filament.

Igor's machines can turn plastic bottles into long ribbons, which then get passed through a heated nozzle, which produces a cylindrical, hollow filament. He's also developed a filament welding machine, so you can string multiple plastic-bottle-filaments together into a full roll.
