BioticsAI Boasts High Diagnostic Accuracy in Prenatal Ultrasounds

BioticsAI is a platform designed for obstetricians, aiming to improve prenatal diagnostics by mitigating errors in ultrasound exams. The AI system plugs into ultrasound machines and helps detect fetal abnormalities and pregnancy issues. BioticsAI – a member of the StartUp Health community since 2021 – won first place at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023, where the company demonstrated its live technology in front of judges and received widespread recognition.

Robhy Bustami, CEO & Co-founder of BioticsAI, joined us in the StartUp Health Studio at HLTH 2024 to chat about how his company's platform addresses the problem of misdiagnosis in prenatal screenings, which affects half of fetal malformation cases. BioticsAI has shown significant improvements in ultrasound accuracy and enhanced workflow efficiency for clinicians. The company is now preparing for FDA clearance and a national rollout.
