Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients
1 Jar marinara Sauce
About 2 pounds ground beef
2 blocks Cream cheese
2 16oz bag shredded Mexican blend cheese
1 16oz bag shredded Mozzarella cheese or Italian cheese blend
Seasonings : mrs dash, seasoning salt, onion powder & garlic powder
Instructions
Cook ground beef until brown and drain the grease
Cook lasagna noodles with salt and allow to boil based on package instructions
In a large pot add ground beef and marinara sauce, add seasonings of choice and allow to simmer 10mins. Be sure to taste sauce and add seasoning if necessary
Soften cream cheese in microwave for 30sec, make sure it’s very soft and creamy
Add a dash of garlic powder and all purpose seasoning
Layer pasta in pan as described below
Add meat sauce , followed by noodles, smooth cream cheese on top of the noodles then add meat sauce and shredded cheese and continue to layer noodles, cream cheese, and meat sauce and shredded cheese. I used an all purpose seasoning with no salt to enhance the flavors on each layer. Top the final layer with cheese and some seasoning salt. Bake for at 350 for 45 mins covered and 15mins uncovered and be sure cheese is melted. Allow to rest for 30mins before cutting.
