A short tutorial on using the FlowCaster remote video viewer for MediaComposer (2015 or greater) and other Avid products. FlowCaster provides a virtual, software based, replacement for Aja, BlueFish444 and BlackMagic board by taking Avid's output and transmitting it as video over IP. FlowCaster supports UDP, RTP, RTMP (youtube/facebook), SRT, RIST, WebRTC, Whip, Browser Live Stream, NDI, CDI, and SMPTE 2110.
As well as the output from Avid, FlowCaster can also transmit an SDI/HDMI input, an NDI stream or your desktop as a secondary stream.
