Kadambam recipe is explained in this video with Kannada narration and English subtitles. Kadambam is a no-onion, no-garlic sambar rice prepared using rice, dals, mixed vegetables, sambar powder and few other spices.
Sambar powder: Fry 5 red chillies, 1 tsp chana dal, 1 tsp urad dal, 1/4 tsp methi seeds, 1/4 tsp cumin seeds and 2 tsp coriander seeds using 1/2 tsp of oil. And then make a fine powder.
