Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's piano arrangement of "The Nutcracker" was intended to make the ballet's music more accessible to the average at-home pianist. A condensed version, known as the Nutcracker Suite, contains a selection of the ballet's most memorable tunes, including this one.
