Sweet potato and rice | SATSUMAIMO GOHAN | easy and QUICK Japanese dish
It's a kind of takikomi gohan (rice cooked directly with the side dish) with sweet potato very fast and very easy to make
It is an autumn meal with few ingredients to enjoy the good taste of sweet potato 😋

For 4 people you will need :

200g of sweet potato
1 tablespoon of sake www.satsuki.fr/sake-pour-cuisine.htm
1 teaspoon of salt
A piece of konbu (about 5cm by 5cm)
Black sesame seeds www.satsuki.fr/sesame-noir-grille-65g.htm
Preparation:
Wash the rice and set aside in the pressure cooker
Peel the sweet potato
Cut into small pieces
Let it soak in water for about 10 minutes
Add the sake to the pressure cooker
Add the water to the number of cups indicated (2 cups for 2 cups of rice)
Add the salt and mix
Add the konbu and sweet potato
Start cooking on short grain mode
In Japan, sweet potatoes are not the same so it is a bit softer than usual, so be careful when mixing and serving.
