In Dandadan E8, Momo apologizes to Aira during their first meeting but demands she apologize to Okarun for toying with his emotions. Aira, instead of holding a grudge, views Momo as a demon to defeat but blushes while talking to Okarun before leaving. Later, Okarun hilariously gets his golden ball back during a game of baseball.
The next day, Okarun skips plans with Momo to focus on a report, but Momo grows uneasy and checks on him, finding him on top of Aira in the courtyard. It’s a misunderstanding—Okarun wanted to train in private, but Aira, after confessing her love, pressured him for a kiss. Hurt, Momo storms off.
Later in class, Okarun notices a flooded floor before encountering Aira again, while Momo faces a Loch Ness monster unleashing a powerful blast. Simultaneously, Okarun and Aira are attacked by a crab-headed alien. Okarun enters Turbo Granny form to save Aira but is subdued by three Serponians. As he struggles, Aira awakens her Acrobatic Silky powers and rescues Okarun.
