The recently released film Caught By The Tides tells the story of Qiao Qiao, a woman from Shanxi whose life has had many ups and downs. It is jokingly referred to as a 22-year "love letter" from Jia Zhangke to his wife, Zhao Tao. From the early 2000s to the present, Zhao Tao has portrayed Qiao Qiao for 22 years, and her face has become the face of a generation. The silent passage of time has left its mark on them. Now 47, Zhao Tao has maintained a similar physique for nearly 30 years, avoids social events, walks 7 kilometers every day, and is currently embracing the beauty of her "middle-aged woman era."
