Oda Announces the Craziest Year of One Piece YET At Jump Festa… Egghead Island Part 2 EXPLAINED #OnePiece #Anime #Shorts One Piece’s anime is away on hiatus right now until the spring however that doesn’t mean we still can’t get our fix as at Jump Festa 2025 we got tons of new information about what’s going on with the series in general and even got this amazing new poster for the second half of Egghead island coming up when the anime returns in April 6th 2025. First off, we learned that a new One Piece movie is in production right now, and while we don’t have a name for it or a logo, just knowing that one is on the way is enough since they’ve been consistently delivering with the One Piece movies for a while now, AND I just can’t imagine what we’re about to see when Luffy goes Gear 5th in that movie. Honestly, the production on the movie might be partially why the Anime is on pause, so they could keep the production of the anime healthy as it has been. Beyond that, Oda sent a message to everyone who attended the event that they read outloud, saying this year marks the 25th anniversary of the anime, and a lot of exciting events have taken place. As 2024 comes to an end I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the staff! The fan letters were wonderful, I’ve said it many times but I truly enjoyed visiting the live action shooting location in South Africa, giving us a little more information about what’s happening with the One Piece Live action. Beyond this Oda goes on to say that he was deeply moved by the passion and love shown by the Staff and Cast on the Live Action One Piece show, since they REALLY care about the original work. As the note continues, Oda says People asked me, Why are you working so hard on the live action adaptation when the manga is already so popular, and his answer is Well, One Piece is already well known worldwide as a manga and anime, but the world is like a vast park, and of course I want to explore it! That’s why i’m giving it my all with the manga, the anime, the movies, AND the live action adaptation! This really shows Oda’s excitement for this project and just how involved he is, which is incredible given how insane his schedule has to be like I can’t even imagine what a day in his life looks like. Finally, Oda says that they’re preparing many plans and announcements for the next year, telling people to please look forward to the continuation of the anime when it returns in 2025, adding that he thinks with a more modern system behind the anime he thinks it’ll somehow get even MORE enjoyable and exciting from here on out, and when it comes to talking about the future, we have an entirely SEPARATE statement from Oda regarding the manga, and that’s where things get JUICY. You see it’s here where Oda says FINALLY, the manga has reached Elbaph! It seems like a chill country, but the arrival of a CERTAIN MAN will break that peace! Meanwhile, something strange will happen in the other oceans! That man will finally begin to stir up the world!! Strap in, for you won’t get a chance to catch your breath again! This tells us that with the arrival of Shanks’ Twin Brother on Elbaph, that entire country is about to break out into Turmoil, while on the other end of the sea we’re likely to see Imu using the Ancient Weapon AGAIN… but where will he use it this time? It seems like we’re finally ramping up to the final war of the series ever since the beginning of Egghead island, so now let’s get back to catching you up on Elbaph so we can start talking about THEORIES.
