Synopsis :
Inquilaab (1984) is a political action thriller directed by T. Rama Rao, starring Amitabh Bachchan as Amar Nath, Sridevi as Asha Seetharam, Utpal Dutt as Shankar Narayan, Kader Khan as Seetharam, Ranjeet as Inspector Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor as Inspector Shakti, Nirupa Roy as Mrs. Seetharam, C.S. Dubey as Inspector Dubey, Iftekhar as Police Commissioner, and Shafi Inamdar as Inspector Inamdar.
The plot revolves around Amar Nath, a street-smart and poor man who makes a living selling cinema tickets and snacks outside cinema halls. He is taken under the wing of a politician, Shankar Narayan, who is the chair of the "Garibon Ki Party" (Party of the Poor). Shankar allows Amar to join the Police Academy, and upon returning, Amar discovers a crime network that includes Shankar and Seetharam, a multi-millionaire businessman. Amar is made a pawn in the syndicate's crimes, and the story follows his struggle to expose the truth and fight against the corrupt system.
It's a gripping tale of corruption, justice, and the fight against powerful adversaries.
