A healthy city is one that continually creates and improves its physical and social environment in a way that the city dwellers can mutually support each other to improve their way of living. Being a healthy city does not depend on health system infrastructure alone. It depends on all stakeholders including the government, academia, private sector and civil society joining hands to address various risk factors to health. To ensure a healthy community and a vibrant future, we must all work hand in hand to make our cities “Healthy Cities.”
