📅 On October 24, 2024, 🇧🇩 Bangladesh launched a nationwide HPV vaccination campaign 💉 aimed at significantly reducing cervical cancer 🎗️, one of the leading causes of cancer among women 👩🦰 in the country.
This phase covers seven divisions:
🌊 Chittagong | 🌾 Khulna | 🌳 Mymensingh
🏛️ Rajshahi | 🌴 Barisal | 🏞️ Sylhet | 🌾 Rangpur
Notably, the Dhaka Division took part in an earlier campaign in October 2023, where 1.5 million girls 👧 received a single dose of the HPV vaccine 💉.
