Growing Star fruit (Carambola) - A Noob's Mistake

In this video I want to share with you all my mistake of growing a star fruit (carambola) tree from seed. As you all know, star fruits are not true to seed, meaning that the plant propagated from seed will NOT produce the same fruit as the mother plant. And most of the time, it will be sour!

So please don't make the same mistake as I did and buy a GRAFTED star fruit tree. That way you know what you will be getting once the tree starts to fruit. Please spend the extra dollar, it will be well worth it.
