why it's a good thing the Percy Jackson show made changes to the book (episode 3 reaction!)

What an episode! I made a valiant attempt to get this out earlier than an entire week after the episode came out but it did not happen, so sorry this is again a week late. I hope everyone enjoys watching the new episode tonight though! I really enjoyed the changes this episode made, like expanding on Medusa's story and giving us these really good moments of growth within the trio! I think it's hard to make an adaptation book accurate while making changes that help the book translate well to a different medium, but this show did it beautifully in this episode. All the changes made still served the story and characters in a way that felt authentic to the original book and the themes of the story.
