The year 2022 marks Queen Elizabeth's 70th year as the Queen of the United Kingdom since she took to the throne at 25 years old in 1952. A celebration of 70 years of service is called a platinum jubilee and throughout the UK this year there are many celebrations taking place to mark the occasion.
