In this tutorial, I’ll guide you through the process of creating a unique industrial-style abstract painting using bicolor aluminum foil and layers of paint. First, I glue crumpled aluminum foil onto the canvas using pacifique glue, intentionally creating textured folds. Before painting, the foil is divided into two tones: one quarter in gold and the rest in silver aluminum.
Watch as I apply layer after layer of paint using brushes and sponges to build up the texture. The final result is a striking contemporary piece, resembling a corroded industrial landscape with shimmering gold and silver reflections hidden beneath the weathered surface.
This painting technique combines raw materials with fine artistic touches, perfect for those who love contemporary and textured abstract art.
